The eco rocket test day 12/2008
This is result of two years of R and D in our search for an eco friendly snowboard. We wanted to make a board using sustainable and fast growing materials yet also make it a performance ride.
This is the test day of prototype number three called the Eco Rocket and its 90% renewable. What’s the other 10% you ask? This is the bit that we are working on for the future such as the standard base and the layer of resin that sticks it to the board. We know that eco resins are on the way so its the base that will need some work.
Foot note: This board was built by hand and cold pressed, using less energy than a cup of tea!
